Byumba Raising Orphans and the Need
Byumba Raising Orphans and the Need is a Non-Governmental Organization, it started 1st February 2020 by Sarah Orishaba, This NGO, Non-profit organization that started to help Needy, Orphans, Single mothers and people with HIV/AIDS.
Short Story about Sarah the founder, I grew up in a poor family where my mother was a single-mother but with six children, all children dropped out from school because of lack of school fees and got married when they were still young, I remained home, my mother had 2 goats with which we would share accommodation in the same house that was thatched with dry Spear grass.
We could use the same spear-grass stems to get light at night. My mum started a business of selling Alcohol from brewed form Banana juice to get money for my education. Sometimes, if the goat produced a kid, she would sell it and get money, she managed to educate me up to ordinary-level where I attained the UCE (Uganda certificate of Education) but beyond this, she couldn't manage me for any more studies.
I sat home for few years and decided to get married. My marriage life was very challenging; unfortunately I was married in poor family again. I had to divorce with 2 children and went back home.
